Physical Therapy
Physical therapy can be beneficial in helping individuals maximize their level of function when they are limited by a wide variety of conditions, including but not limited to: neck pain, back pain, upper and lower extremity joint pain, upper and lower extremity joint sprains, plantar fasciitis, generalized weakness, balance deficits, dizziness, and gait disturbances.
Physical therapy is also helpful to maximize an individual’s recovery following several common surgical procedures, including but not limited to: joint replacements, rotator cuff repairs, shoulder labrum repairs, back and neck surgery, ankle, knee, and shoulder arthroscopic surgeries.
We provide outpatient physical therapy services Monday – Friday from 7 a.m. to noon and also provide inpatient services at Warren Memorial Hospital. Our physical therapist, Jeremy Svoboda, has worked with Friend Community Healthcare System for five years and enjoys providing therapy services for the community. Our physical therapy assistant, Shelly Hellbush, lives in Friend and has worked with our facility since 1976.
Please enter through the Zimmer Medical Clinic doors on Spring Street. Before your first therapy appointment, please register at the front desk at Zimmer Medical Clinic. After your first appointment you may head straight downstairs to therapy by elevator or stairs.
