Nurse – Full-time Nights
Purpose
The RN will perform patient care in all facets within their scope of practice. They will act as the charge nurse on the floor and ensure proper patient care is being administered at all times.
Responsibilities
- Act as Charge Nurse when necessary
- Perform patient care within scope of practice
- Administer medications as directed by physician
- Use assessments to develop a patient care plan and communicate care plan to patients
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for more than (4) hours at a time.
- Must be able to lift at least (50) pounds.
- Must have clear communication skills.
- Must be able to remain calm and collected during an emergent situation.
- Active RN license required in Nebraska
- Active BLS required
- ACLS and PALS required six months after starting
Cook – PRN
Purpose
The purpose of the Cook is to prepare and provide nutritional meals to patients and the community. This role will cook meals for patients, community members who come to the kitchen at the lunch hours, and meals on wheels participants.
Responsibilities
- Prepare nutritional meals
- Prep food for future meals
- Serve and package meals on wheels meals
- Prep and package meals for the grab N’ go for employees
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills
- Active food handler’s permit required
- Experience in a kitchen preferred
Maintenance Technician – Full-time
Purpose
The purpose of the maintenance technician will be to assist the Maintenance Director with general repair, upkeep, and preventative maintenance to keep the hospital functioning smoothly.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a maintenance or general repair role is preferred
- A valid drivers license is required
- Proficiency in basic repairs across various trades (e.g. plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
- Ability to work independently and lift heavy objects in various weather conditions

CMA(AAMA) – Part-time
Purpose
The purpose of the CMA is to provide quality care to the patients in the Zimmer Medical Clinic while assisting in registration and reception responsibilities. This is a part time position that may include Thursday evening clinic hours and Saturday morning clinic hours.
Responsibilities:
- Direct quality patient care
- Physician Support
- Medication administration and refilling medication requests
- Scheduling and managing patient and clinic communication
- Managing and updating patient EHRs (Data Entry)
- Generalized reception duties: answering phones, sending faxes, etc.
Qualifications:
- Current, valid CMA (AAMA) license
- Active BLS required
- Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for more than (4) hours at a time.
- Must be able to lift at least (50) pounds.
- Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills
- Previous experience in a clinic setting preferred
