The Friend Community Healthcare System lab department performs routine and emergency lab testing, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Accurate and timely test results are critical to your diagnosis and treatment decisions. We offer the convenience of walk-in service but can serve you best and decrease your wait time if you schedule an appointment.

Our laboratory professionals work closely with our medical staff to provide excellent services to emergency room and hospitalized patients, as well as our outpatient clinic. Our laboratory professionals work with your physician to ensure that you receive the tests you need at a time that’s convenient for you.

Our experienced staff have had schooling that focuses on the study of disease states, human anatomy, chemistry, performance of lab tests including hematology, chemistry, coagulation, urinalysis and blood bank (transfusion services).

The Lab also offers Wellness Wednesday every 3rd week of the month.  This offers greatly reduced lab test fees.  Tests included are Lipid panel, TSH, CBC, CMP, FreeT4, PSA.
