Thanks to a generous donation from our Hospital Auxilary Thrift Store (H.A.T.S.) here in Friend, FCHS will soon have several improvements:

1. New Ice Machine! Because of this addition, we will have new restaurant beverage selections in the 905 Café.
2. High Definition Card Printer with embedded electronics! This will get us closer to upgraded staff badges with swipe security technology for enhanced patient safety.
3. Two new Oxygyn Concentrators! These will provide additional capacity for patients with respiratory challenges. Their design is lighter / more compact, with noticeably quieter operation.
4. Additional ambulance stretcher from Friend Rescue! This will increase our response capacity to emergency situations in our community.

Since its inception in 2012, H.A.T.S. has donated over $100,000 in enhancements to the quality of care in our community.
