Janae Whitaker, APRN
Janae brings 16 years of experience in the medical field, including 6 years of nursing experience in ER, PCU, and urgent care. The last 3 years, she’s advanced her career to become a nurse practitioner– providing comprehensive, holistic care in both primary care and emergency medicine. Janae joined FCHS in August 2024. Her favorite part of working in Friend has been building meaningful relationships within the community and caring for patients across the lifespan. She is passionate about promoting wellness through preventative services and evidence-based lifestyle medicine, empowering patients to choose sustainable health choices.
Whether in the clinic or emergency department, Janae is dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of the patients she serves.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, coaching her kids in sports, playing the piano, or traveling anywhere she can. She has been to 43 states and 11 countries!
