Sara Hlad, PA-C, joined the FCHS family in June of 2020. She serves as an emergency room, clinic, and inpatient provider. She has worked in the healthcare industry for over a decade now. 

Sara is from a rural farming community near Barnard, Kansas. She worked at the Lincoln County Hospital and Medical Clinic in Lincoln, Kansas as a full time clinic, emergency room, and inpatient hospital provider from 2009 until 2016. When her youngest daughter was born in 2016, Sara continued to work as an emergency room provider at Lincoln County Hospital as well as multiple hospitals throughout Kansas.

She received her Bachelors Degree in Biology from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas in 2007. Sara then went on to obtain her Masters in Physician Assistant from Wichita State University in 2009.

Sara resides near Salina, Kansas with her husband, Jeff, and their seven children. They are expecting twin girls in May.  Sara is on site at FCHS every other weekend, Thursday night through Monday morning.
